Political party Spanish Socialist Workers' Party Occupation Ambassador Religion Roman Catholic Miguel Ángel Moratinos Cuyaubé (b. 8 June 1951 in Madrid) is a Spanish diplomat and politician, a member of the Socialist Workers' Party and member of Congress where he represents Córdoba.
He currently serves as Minister of Foreign Affairs in the government of José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero where he has served since 18 April 2004).
Between 1996 and 2003, Moratinos was the European Union Special Representative for the Middle East Peace Process.
In 2007, Moratinos was the Chairman-in-Office of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe.
